If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

Home visits

These are usually for patients who are immobile through ill health. These are usually elderly/housebound patients with chronic disabling conditions. Please call before 10:00am whenever possible as this helps to plan the day efficiently. The Duty Doctor will decide if a home visit is medically necessary.

You will not be visited solely on grounds of your convenience, but on the basis of medical need, as the doctor can see several patients in the surgery in the time it would take to come out to your home.
